More than just the builder of Gettysburg’s oldest home, Alexander Dobbin was a minister, educator, and community leader whose influence helped shape the early town. Presented by longtime Dobbin House steward Jackie White, this talk draws on decades of research to reveal the life, ambitions, and legacy of a man who left an indelible mark on Gettysburg—and the home that still bears his name. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 7 p.m. Registration is required.  The cost is $60 per person for dinner and the program.
