October 11-12, 2025
Step back in time as Hollywood comes to Gettysburg this fall! On October 11–12, downtown Gettysburg will be transformed into the set of a brand-new film by actor and director Bo Brinkman (Gettysburg, A Gettysburg Christmas, The Last Man Club, The Bay House).
This powerful story follows a fictional Gettysburg family whose lives are forever changed by the Civil War—the fight for freedom on the Underground Railroad, the battle that raged through their streets, and one Union soldier’s struggle to survive and find his way home.
Filming will take place in front of the historic Shriver House Museum (built in 1860), with cameras capturing the Union retreat on July 1, 1863, the aftermath and cleanup that followed the battle, and the solemn procession to the Soldiers’ National Cemetery before Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address.
As an audience member, you won’t just be watching a movie being made—you’ll be part of a once-in-a-lifetime recreation of Gettysburg’s Civil War history, unfolding on the very street where it actually happened 162 years ago.
