Tuesday August 25

Other dates...

6:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Before it was Gettysburg, this iconic landscape stood at the edge of the British Empire – a rugged and uncertain frontier. The region’s earliest European settlers faced border disputes, isolation, and the looming threat of violence during the French and Indian War, all while attempting to build homes, families, and communities. Join historian Tim Smith at the Dobbin House Tavern for a lively presentation about the Gettysburg area’s origin story. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 7 p.m.

Registration is required.  The cost is $60 per person for dinner and the program.
