Join us for Taco Tuesday with Tim, a new lunchtime program.

Historian Tim Smith will share stories of restaurants that once called Gettysburg home, from familiar names to places that have faded from memory.  Using historic photos, brochures, and more, Tim will look at how these eateries fit into the fabric of everyday life in Gettysburg and how dining in town has changed over the years.

The taco bar will include soft shell flour tortillas and hard corn taco shells, fire braised chicken, seasoned taco beef, Mexican rice, refried beans, chips and salsa, shredded cheddar, shredded lettuce, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and assorted cookies.

Spend your lunch break enjoying good food and a look back at a lesser-known side of Gettysburg's past!

The luncheon will be held at the Gettysburg History Center, 625 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg.  Pre-registration is required.
